Convoys of DU Weapons On British Roads
Nuclear convoy watchers have spotted trucks loaded with DU weapons
unused in the recent Iraq attack being transported between RAF Fairford
to the weapons dump at Welford. RAF Fairford is where A-10 bomber
planes, which use DU ammunition, took off from for the attack on Iraq.
These transports have serious safety considerations in case of accidents
and are an important issue for local councils to take up.
